The Yorkshire Fly Fishers Club
Founded in 1883
A club that encourages the higher branches of the art of angling practiced by conservation minded fishers.
The Yorkshire Fly-Fishers' Club controls over 20 miles of fishing on the Rivers Eden and Eamont in Cumbria. Set in stunning picturesque countryside the beats on the upper, middle and lower Eden provide excellent and varied waters holding brown trout and grayling.
On the middle and lower beats salmon fishing continues to improve with catches for the last three years up by almost 300% on the proceeding three years.
Yorkshire Fly Fishers Club also control stretches on the Ribble in Lancashire (3 miles, double bank) and the Ure near Masham, Yorkshire.
Methods:
Fly only for brown trout. Fly and selective spinning for salmon on some beats. No natural baits are permitted.
The club does not issue day tickets. Limited membership opportunities are filled via a waiting list.
